Commemoration of Martin Luther

Tomorrow is the annual commemoration of the Great Reformer Martin Luther. On Oct. 31, 1517, he posted 95 theses which opened the door for the reformation of the Church.

Kudos to you Herr Doctor Luther!

"Here is the truly Christian life, here is faith really working by love: when a man applies himself with joy and love to the works of that freest servitude, in which he serves others voluntarily and for naught; himself abundantly satisfied in the fullness and richness of his own faith.
... Martin Luther (1483-1546)

Tommy Lee

Looks like we have a new student here at the University. He's here taping a new reality show for NBC. He's taking classes, marching with the band. It's quite a scene man.

Over the Rainbow

Nomination for most beautiful song: Over the Rainbow by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole. I first heard it during the credits for 50 First Dates, and knew I had to own it. Thanks to iTunes, I do. Heaven on earth!

Extreme Pumpkin Carving

Now this is the way to carve pumpkins. If I owned power tools I might join in, but I think I'll try something a little less reckless.
